Thanksgiving Weekend Events at Billing’s Farm

Billings Farm & Museum, is open for Thanksgiving Weekend. The annual Thanksgiving Holiday weekend features traditional cooking demonstrations in the farmhouse, horse-drawn wagon rides, farm tours, and more. This is an opportunity to visit the farmhouse that was once the home of Frederick Billin and family. Costumed interpreters prepare traditional Thanksgiving fare. Billing’s Farm & Museum is an operating dairy farm and the farmhouse activities are included in the entrance fee. For more information: 802-457-2355.

Usually the first weekend in December, Christmas at the Farm – Learn how Christmas was celebrated in late 19th century Woodstock in the farmhouse and linger in the cozy kitchen as treats are baked in the woodstove. Holiday programs and making historic ornaments.

Mid December Woodstock Wassail Weekend – You’ll be welcomed to tour the festively decorated 1890 Farm House; make a historic ornament as a memento of your visit.

Sugarbush Farm is located on a 550 acre hilltop outside of Woodstock Village. Visitors watch cheese production, year round maple tours, sample Sugarbush Farm cheeses, Vermont Maple Products, local Honey, and other products. You can walk the nature trail, see farm animals, and best of all free admission. The farm is located 3 miles off US Route 4 on Hillside Road, across from the Taftsville Bridge, 3 miles east of Woodstock, VT. Sugarbush Farm Store is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
