VT Kid Vacations

The Annual Kids Adventure Games returns to Stowe at The Trapp Family Lodge every June. This popular kid friendly event features a kid sized adventure race where teams of two navigate a ‘natural terrain’ inspired obstacle course. This Vermont event has plenty to keep everyone active. Kids can expect mountain biking, hiking, zip-lines, a Tarzan rope swing, giant Slip-n-Slide, river tubing, cargo nets, mud pits and more. The indoor pool is a great place to relax after a day of fun.

Bootleggers Basin at Smugglers Notch Vermont

One of the most awarded and complete Kid’s Programs anywhere is the offerings available at Smugglers’ Mountain Resort. Smuggs offers custom-crafted programs engage children from ages 6 weeks to 17 years ! The programs vary and offer indoor and outdoor adventures and activities with kids their own age. Smugglers’ Notch is the home of Summer Fun University, where day-long programs are specially designed for the abilities and interests of each age group. Participants enjoy hikes and nature exploration, swimming, field games, crafts, music, team challenges, and indoor activities.

Bootleggers’ Basin reservoir and recreation area will entice families with a swimming area, playing fields, tents, picnic tables and restrooms. Bootleggers’ will serve as home base for Family Ties field games like kickball, soccer and volleyball and our new water sport, flyboarding – that uses a boot-mounted water jet pack enabling the wearer to leap and dive in flight above the water!
