Sugar on Snow was recently published by Dutton Children’s Books. The colorful book is the third by Nan Parson Rossiter, a New Englander and resident of New Milford, Connecticut. The story is delightful and the illustrations, which were also done by Ms. Rossiter, are fabulous!
The “Sugar on Snow” picture book is about a modern-day family in Vermont collecting sap to make maple syrup. It’s a tribute to teamwork and family life on a small family farm.
This book makes a great gift and is a fun way to learn about Maple Sugaring and “Sugar on Snow” – the sweet concoction that happens when warm maple syrup is drizzled over fresh snow and eaten.
Now available in bookstores or available online through Amazon.com.
