Brownsville VT Brownsville, Vermont is an unincorporated village in West Windsor, Vermont. Brownsville is located on Vermont Route 44. Brownsville is named for two early settlers, John and Briant Brown. Many of the early settlers were sheep farmers. Ascutney Mountain Resort, a Vermont ski area and Holiday Inn Vacation Resort is located in Brownsville.
