Glover VT Lodging, Real Estate, Travel & Visitor Information
Glover, Vermont is a small town in the Northeast Kingdom region of Vermont. Glover, Vermont (sounds like “lover” with a G) is home to the famous Bread and Puppet Theatre and Museum, Currier’s Store and maple syrup producers. Glover boasts three wonderful lakes – Shadow Lake, Daniel’s Pond, and Lake Parker (located in West Glover). Glover, Vermont was once the site of Long Pond (now called Runaway Pond). An historic marker commemorates the sight of the former Long Pond – the pond “ran away” when local men attempted to change to direction of water flowing from the pond and redirect it towards Barton Lake.
