|Stowe Food & Wine Classic
The annual Stowe Food & Wine Classic is not only a great opportunity to sample the very best of Vermont&rsquo’s restaurants and wineries, it’s also a fundraiser for Copley Hospital and the Vermont Foodbank. Held at the Trapp Family Lodge, this 3-day food lovers festival features a five-course meal prepared by five notable chefs, paired with highly rated wines from featured wineries. Wine pairings, beer tastings, James Beard award-winning chefs, and live cooking demonstrations can all be found at the annual Stowe Food & Wine Classic.
|Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show
The Vermont Summer Festival features six weeks of hunter and jumper series equestrian jumping competition. This annual Vermont equestrian event offers an opportunity to witness one of the world’s premier equestrian competitions and horse shows. For details about the festival follow the links below. Shows include the Manchester Classic Horse Show, Valley Classic Horse Show, Manchester and the Mountains, and Vermont Summer Celebration. Walking, trotting, cantering or jumping. The Vermont Summer Festival is held at one of the largest Grand Prix fields in the United States – Harold Beebe Farm. Competitions are available for all ages and abilities.

Sponsored by the Valley Arts Foundation, Vermont Festival of the Arts features more than a hundred exhibits, performances, workshops, and demonstrations by a variety of artists. Free events, kids activities, arts, and crafts – all can be found at this annual Mad River Valley event.
|Lake Champlain Maritime Festival
Held on the edge of Burlington’s waterfront, the three-day Lake Champlain Mairitime Festival features live music, hands-on activities, train rides, vending, local fare, dragon boat demonstrations, a 5k run, and boat building demonstrations. Spend a weekend strolling along Burlington’s shore and enjoy the history of Lake Champlain’s maritime history.

The Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival is a premier summer event and one of Vermont’s most colorful spectacles. The Stowe area is a great place to enjoy a vacation, and this special event makes it even more memorable. Vermont’s highest peak, Mount Mansfield, and the majestic Green Mountains provide a beautiful backdrop for this spectacular event. Take flight over the weekend see a kaleidoscope of color to the delight of visitors and the residents of Stowe and surrounding villages. Festivities include an array of food and beverage concessions, a beer garden, craft vendors, and a Kids Korner. The weekend is highlighted by dozens of colorful hot air balloons.

The annual Vermont Quilt Festival is New England’s largest and oldest quilt event. Enjoy hundreds of eye-popping new and antique quilts on display. Then shop the bustling Merchants Mall with its colorful array of wares, take in appraisals, and listen to free gallery talks and vendor demonstrations. Admission is charged.

Tickets are required for this part of the Festival.
