Equinox Skyline Drive – Manchester, VT
Equinox Mountain offers magnificent views whenever you come there, yet, it is a must-visit in the fall. As you drive up, you can stop by the road for a picnic. When having reached the summit, go to the viewing center. From all sides, there are mountains. The fall foliage makes them even more breathtaking. And if you would like to hike the summit trails, you can also go to lookout rock.

Great Vermont Maze
Corn mazes tended by farmers after harvesting are a usual thing here, but in the Great Vermont Maze, you get to visit the biggest maze in Vermont and even more. In October, the owners offer the visitors to attend a walk through the haunted maze of horrors that includes actors and special effects. Spooky!

Jenne Farm
Jenne Farm is a family owned business established more than 100 years ago. This farm is one of the most photographed sceneries in the state and the whole New England region. Also, you might have seen it in movies like Funny Farm and Forrest Gump. The rural area is not that easy to notice when passing, so it takes time to find the way there. Yet, the sight of red buildings on the hills covered with a colorful blanket of leaves is totally worth it!

Emily’s Bridge

Smugglers’ Notch – Jeffersonville, VT

Burlington Bike Path
The waterfront of Burlington stretches for 8 miles along amazing sights, beaches, and parks where you can make a stop, watch the sunset, or simply enjoy the sights of Lake Champlain. It is not a must to have your own bike, you can rent one in the Local Motion store. Along the way, you will also see a number of food trucks and cafes to have a snack or a full meal.

Champlain Valley
Champlain valley is shared between two countries (the US and Canada) and two US states – New York and Vermont. It has numerous hiking trails, and as you reach one of the viewing spots, you won’t regret coming up there. However, even from the bottom of the valley, the scenery is overwhelming. And if you would like to try local food, visit the Burlington farmers market.

Quechee Gorge State Park
If you are a fan of camping, it is a must-visit for you. In the park, you have an opportunity to have a picnic, ride a bike, hike, fish, and enjoy the view over the Quechee Gorge dam.
